Nigerian-UK Gospel music minister, Nwa Chi makes her debut appearance with new single ‘Redeemer Liveth’ in response to a vision, inspired three (3) months ago where masses of people in a red hot furnace; she was in the midst of a group of other pastor’s on a pulpit with huge crowd’s (worship concert) and were discussing – ‘We better increase the tempo of the preaching’.

Romans 10:9; If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. She has great gratitude to God for all his great miracles in her life, family and the community. She proclaims God as her Father, Friend and every every.

Nwa Chi’s prayer and desire is that everyone who listens to ‘Redeemer Liveth’ will experience the same awesomeness of God with great testimonies.

ABOUT NWA CHI

Nwa Chi is an English African singer/songwriter, minister, evangelist, charity worker, multi-talented with a deep passion and love for God and the Gospel. Her desire is to see people connect with God daily outside and in the place of worship as the Lord has instructed, passionate about touching the heart of God with worship and ministry, leading God’s people to praise and worship Him and experience the same personal relationship.

A teacher and accountant by day, Nwa Chi’s life took an irrevocable change few years ago when she was involved in a ghastly motor accident in West Africa and survived uninjured, being the only one awake to rescue other passengers out of the somersaulted car.

Her hobbies include listening to and worshiping with inspirational gospel songs. She plays instruments like the flute and guitar. Her vocal trainer has been Clare Hogan, a former singer and now vocal trainer, graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and a vocal technique lecturer at the Salford University, UK.

Nwa Chi is a worship minister, evangelist and minister with the Overcoming Faith Outreach International Ministries in the United Kingdom. Overcoming Faith International Ministries is a prophetic and healing ministry, overseer Pastor Fred Adejo who is based in Romford, Essex.

She is also a student of Benny Hinn School of Ministry and Rhema Ministries. She states that there is no distance in the Spirit as the Holy Spirit is one.

This single is quite comprehensive as it covers a lot of areas in the Bible concerning praise & prayer. Withreferences from Job 19:25, Psalm 27, 1 Peter 5:7, Hebrews 12:1-3, Psalm 126, Psalms 91, Luke 4:38-39, Luke 7: 11-15, Jeremiah 31:16-17.

Joke is a worship leader, church music consultant, keyboardist, drummer, music producer, director and arranger who has been in music ministry for over 20 years. Her main motivation is service to God through leading his people in praise and worship. Joke is multi-talented and very dynamic. She believes that her music capacity is a divine gift as she easily picks up things that others struggle with.

Joke has a National Diploma in Surveying from The Yaba College of Technology, a Higher National Diploma in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the Federal School of Surveying (FSS) Oyo, A BSc in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the University of Lagos and an MSC in GIS and the Environment from the University of Salford UK. She is currently in the final stages of her PHD in Geography with emphasis on the use of satellite data for atmospheric pollution monitoring.

In addition to her academic qualifications, she has bagged a few Music proficiency certificates from the Music Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Music School, Lagos.

Music for her has always been a hobby and a calling in addition to catering, lecturing and Motivational speaking. She is in high demand for Church Music Consulting and Choir structuring/restructuring basically because of the number of Music Teams and Choirs that she has successfully turned around.  She is also in high demand for speaking engagements at Music Seminars and Leadership Conferences.

Joke has received and won numerous awards of recognition for her contribution to music. Her most recently won award is the Pomerance award for exceptional contributions to music at the University of Leicester, UK.

She is currently the Music Director of the multiple award winning Leicester University Voices (LUV) who came first place in 2015 and first runners up in 2016 at the University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) annual competition. It would be worthy to note that the Leiceter University Voices achieved this feat under her directorship.
She has also directed many other choirs including the Victory Word Choir of Victory Christian Church Lagos, the Winners Voices of Winners Chapel Awka, the Lancaster University Gospel Pentecostal Choir and The Vessels of Honour Choir at RCCG City of Favour Leicester, UK.

As a recording artiste, she has recently released a new single titled “We bring you the Praise”. She co-produced this latest work with Wole Oni, a multiple-award winning producer. It is worthy to note that “We bring you the Praise” has been well received by Music critics globally.

A few of her influences include Phil Collins, Tom brooks, Israel and the New breed, Chris Tomlin, Chris Moka, Richard Smallwood, Wole Oni , Kim Burrell and a host of others.

Joke currently resides in Leicester, United Kingdom with her husband, Dr. Alex Onojeghuo and fellowships at the RCCG City of Favour, Leicester.

ABOUT IDOWU EYIN

Idowu is a strong woman of God. She started to sing in the choir when she was 12years old and since developed a strong passion for praise and worship. She was called, equipped and released by God to do His work firstly as a worshipper and then as a songwriter, vocalist and a versatile gospel recording artist.

She can be described as seemingly different as her style is a blend of contemporary, Afro juju, funk, and soul. She is blessed with a strong unique husky voice tone.

She is married to Dr Gilbert Eyin. They are blessed with two lovely sons and Emmanuel and Elijah.

Aside this, she is a charitable person who gives without expecting any returns. She sees the need to help suffering and deprived children all over the world. She also campaign for the fight against cancer. She has used her music to contribute to this effect. Idowu gives back certain percentage of her revenue to her chosen charities.

She has a passion for hair and beauty and has also been able to use this to support the campaign against cancer by donating wigs annually to women who survived the deadly sickness.

Idowu desires to proclaim the name of Jesus as the only true God.

Minister Sam is an Akwa Ibom state born psalmist with a 1st degree in music from the Delta State University and a diploma in church music from the International Worship Training Institute, Benin city. He is also the proprietor of SAM COLLEGE OF MUSIC, Lagos.

He is a humble young man who in the past 2 decades has served the the Lord, and has worked with the body of Christ(Church) in different capacities. He is currently working with one of the RCCG Modern Parishes as a music director, and also served has the band leader of Agu and Alero Imo’s monthly worship event, Shekinah Nite. He is a man that has put character above gifts and skills, and this has made all to speak well of him.
This song puts us in a place where we can see what God has done before, especially in the Bible days and also let us know that God can do the same today. Here is an extract from the song…..
